βLet the wise hear and increase in learning, and the one who understands obtain guidance.β
Proverbs 1:5Β
I’m currently reading about my country’s history and it’s been eye-opening on so many accounts! I’m at the part where we (Trinidad) are introduced radio broadcasting in 1925. Back then, the new technology was considered a luxury for not everyone owned a radio. When two local calypsonians went abroad to perform in concert, neighbors flocked to the yard of the one that owned the radio so they can tune in. However, the transmission was not clear and many were left disappointed.
I don’t listen to the radio as before, but I am thankful for this device nevertheless.
I do when I am driving. Or should say did. Mainly now I listen to Pandora. I don’t think that counts as radio though, does it? Since there is not a person/persons talking to you between songs π
