Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.
3 John 2
I must confess that I start off with exercises that are vital to keeping the body fit, only to stop doing them after a while. I am working on being consistent and these verses help me to stay focus:
Romans 12:1 – This verse reminds me that my body is a living sacrifice and to continuously strive for holiness even as I do wall push-ups.
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 – Yet, another reminder of the body is a living sacrifice given that the Holy Spirit dwells within. This scripture bluntly tells us that our bodies are not our own.
1 Corinthians 10:31 – Bringing glory to God in ALL areas of our lives are very important, and yes, this also includes exercise. Make sure that the exercise you do glorifies God.
Despite not regularly keeping it up, I am thankful that I have the opportunity to exercise.
I walk and I do pilates. Sadly, I have NOT been consistent since the whole “my house had to be gutted” issue last year. LOL Then moving 1,000 miles. I was hitting my stride again when the virus hit. Still able to do the pilates but the walking was more challenging. Finally last week figured out a way to get the walking in. Up and down the stairs to our apartment, early in the morning before everyone is out π Thank the LORD π

I’ve not been as consistent as well. At least you’re still able to do pilates and the walking!

Amen to that π I do miss my treadmill and pilates machine at home. It made it nice to be able to have a climate controlled area when walking. Plus the pilates machine does give a better workout and results but I am still able so for that I am thankful π
