The bamboo is an amazing plant! It can grow up to 130 feet tall! Here’s what so amazing about this plant: for the first six years, nothing shoots out from the ground, for during this time, its roots are developing. Then when the 7th year rolls around, BAM! A shoot appears and the plant just grows and grows and grows!

It’s quite spectacular! 

Every morning when I open the window and look out, I am greeted by this beautiful plant. Creation exists to show the glory of God, and I see it in the bamboo.

I am thankful for the bamboo.
