As a father shows compassion to his children,
so the Lord shows compassion to those who fear him.

My earthly father was strict with us growing up, and I’m glad that he was, for that partially inspired the woman that I am today. He didn’t complete his education, but later on, he became one of the top professionals in His area after studying hard.

And let me tell you, dad took his studies seriously! 

I wish I had the zeal and commitment to study as hard as he did, but my learning process is different. Today, he’s still as strong as he was 30 years ago despite back problems and still energetic. 

I am thankful that my dad is still alive. I am thankful that he lives to see another milestone. Happy birthday, dad!
