but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.
Isaiah 40:31
We’ve come to the end of a month that saw the islanders begging for rain! At times, it was so hot that I couldn’t concentrate on my writing, blogging, or drawing. I barely got reading time in. If I read five books, I read a lot.
However, it was also a month that saw me reflect on my walk with God and the cracks and strains in our relationship. I sought forgiveness, repented, and asked God to remove the useless weeds that are suffocating and affecting my love for Him.
I am thankful that I lived through this month. May October be lighter.
Lyrically Speaking!
Do you remember the 21st night of September? Love was changing the minds of pretenders. While chasing the clouds away, our hearts were ringing. In key, that how our souls were singing; as we danced in the night. Remember, how the stars stole the night away! In the Earth, the Wind; the Fire, of God’s love! Within everything, my sister; God’s love resonate! Even, in this Earth, Wind, and Fire song excerpt! Blessings!
