He got into one of the boats, the one belonging to Simon, and asked him to put out a little from shore. Then he sat down and taught the people from the boat.

I have a beautiful view of the ocean from where I live, and every day, I look forward to seeing the boats, the cargo ships, tankers, and tugs, and they come in all shapes and sizes! Sea vessels take me back to the scriptures especially the one where the disciples are in the midst of the sea and Jesus gives them a fright when He walked on the water to get to them (Matthew 14:22-33).
In the midst of a storm, Jesus is there and won’t forsake us. It’s up to us now to put our faith in Him, and completely trust Him to bring us through it.
I am thankful for sea vessels and the reminders they bring with them.
