My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?

John 14:2

John 14:2 has been on my mind lately. And every time I think of the verse, it makes me smile. I live in my earthly father’s house all because he didn’t want me to rent an apartment to pay multiple expenses. And given the renting situation that I’m currently witnessing, I’m glad that I listened to my father.

I am thankful that I live in my father’s house.

I am thankful that there is a room prepared for me in the coming Kingdom.
