Day 206 of 366: thankful that my bestie turned one year older

Those of you that know Tammy, knows that she means the world to me. The Lord has placed us in each other’s lives at a time when He knew we needed each other, and if I must say, we balance off each other well. I can talk to her about anything, and she never judges; she’s always there with listening ears. She wouldn’t hesitate to call me out if I’m in the wrong and I love that about her.

She celebrated a birthday earlier this month, and I am thankful that she lived to see another birthday.

Most of all, I am thankful that I can call Tammy my best friend and sister.

I haven’t seen my bestie since February, but we’ve been staying in touch by WhatsApp. On Monday, my sister organized with her for a meet-up to collect some stuff for donation, and so, I decided to surprise her. My sister was also in on it, and although we choreographed it at the last minute, it went well.

Bestie was  beyond surprised for she knows with the headaches I’ve been having lately, I can’t really travel out much, but it was worth it. I am thankful that I got to see her after all these isolated months.
