Day 273 of 366: thankful for the Holy Spirit’s intercession

But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.

John 14:26

There are times when I get on my knees to pray, I get tongue-tied or I’m super fatigued, and I end up not knowing what to say to God. This is where the Holy Spirit steps in. He prays according to God’s will for He understands my groanings. 

I am utmost thankful for the intercession of the Holy Spirit.

I know that my redeemer lives, and that in the end he will stand on the earth.

With Jesus as our Redeemer, there is hope for healing in every area of our lives. In His love, we’re made holy and blameless. What I love about Christ, is that He takes every scar, every ugliness, and every brokenness, and makes it beautiful.

Jesus is our Redeemer, for He alone was able to pay the great ransom for our freedom. He selflessly offered Himself in our place and because of this action, He has set us free from the power of sin. And because of His selfless action, we can look forward to eternity. 

I am thankful that my Redeemer lives! 💙

God’s love is steadfast. It is certain, constant, and forever. God’s love is comforting, a place of refuge. His love is unconditional and unfailing.

God loves us so much that He sent Jesus into the world, promised those that believed in Him the Holy Spirit, provides our daily needs, and surrounded us with nature. His love is so beautiful that once you get a taste of it, you’ll stop questioning why He loves us so, and just enjoy the love He spoils us with.

There is no other love as God’s love. Humans cannot love as Him. We love because He first loved us, and we can claim to love, but if we don’t love Him, how can we love others as we ought to?

We’ve been having hot days on the island, that we automatically look forward to the sun setting on evenings, so we can cool down before taking a shower for bed. Yet, I’m glad to have the breeze blow throughout the day. Our natural fan/AC never fail us.

The breeze is invisible just as the Holy Spirit. We cannot see it, but we can feel it, just as we can feel the Holy Spirit within us, if we just get out of the way and make room for Him.

I am thankful for the gently blowing breeze and reminders of the Holy Spirit.
