“It is He who changes the times and the epochs; He removes kings and establishes kings; He gives wisdom to wise men And knowledge to men of understanding.
Daniel 2:21
This is me when it comes to ANYTHING history:
I love any and everything history. Be it the history behind the French Revolution, the first roads, GIFs, inventions, and even the world. Man has conquered the world so many times – especially Napoleon Bonaparte and Alexander the Great – and it’s fascinating to see that having kingdoms bow at their feet never brought them the happiness they craved. They thought they were invincible, that they were gods in their own right. King Nebuchadnezzar learned a valuable lesson the hard way inΒ Daniel 4:Β Man is never in charge of establishing a kingdom, God is.
I am thankful for history for it has taught me a lot, and I am still learning. I also have to be careful, for history can “take one for a fool”.Β
