I don’t know about Monday blues for I’m always blessed to see another Monday, no matter what the circumstance maybe. It’s been a busy and full day, so I’m winding down with my sisters.
I am thankful for Mondays and I trust that your Monday was super!
Every weekend, I tend to turn my tablet off. The tablet is the source of communication I tend to keep up with loved ones through WhatsApp especially, but on the weekend, I tend to unplug from the world and direct my focus on God, writing, close family, etc. I tend to unplug from WordPress, too, but since I’m here, I’ll be paying a visit to the main blog to reply to late comments.
I am thankful that I can unplug from the world to reconnect with what really matters.
We love because God first loved us, but the way He loves is incomparable to none. You can search the deepest oceans and climb the highest mountains. There is no one on the face of this earth that can love as our Father Who stands ready with arms wide open to rebuke, correct, and forgive.
I am thankful that God loves me, that He accepted me as I was and is now molding me into the image of Christ.
Rice is life! Every week, I tend to have 2-3 rice dishes and lately, I’ve been enjoying fried rice. Rice is very easy to prepare and it can be accompanied by sauces and gravy.
I am thankful for rice.
Here in the Caribbean, saltfish is a big deal for us. We make buljol with it and eat it with everything from crackers to fried bakes. We also like it stewed so it can be accompanied by rice. I love that I can go to this salted delicacy when I don’t feel for chicken.

When I’m down, I can call upon the Lord and put my trust in Him, for I have faith that He’ll get me over the hurdles in my way, for NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR OUR GOD!
I am thankful that I can hold onto the Lord no matter what situation I may face.
Sometimes, moving on might seem hard, so we need that extra push to finally close the chapter and turn the page. It’s been that way for me for a long time now. I talked about moving on since last year when the Lord revealed that I had to, but I clung to the book trying to keep it on the chapter for a while longer. It’s finally closed now.
I am thankful that I can close this chapter in my life and thankful for the memories I’ve taken away.
I love that when I go out and return home, I can wipe my shoes on the mat to get it clean before entering the house. This ritual reminds me that there is no sin – no matter how dirty – that God cannot cleanse.

I’m currently shopping around for a laptop, but I’m yet to settle on one. The current one that I’m using is practically on its last legs, but I can still use it to access certain sites and type documents even though it’s a slower process.
I am thankful for having a laptop despite it being on its last legs.
It’s been ages since I’ve had chennette, so when Ma came home with $20 worth of the fruit, I was elated! It was sweet and tasty and just right. I have plans to talk about this fruit on the main blog, so I won’t go much into it at the moment.
I am thankful to finally have some of this fruit this season.
