December! Am I so happy to see you! Every year when I get to December, I tend to be reflective and look back at the year to see how far I’ve come and what I can better moving ahead. I’ll be making an announcement on the main blog soon concerning the future of blogging, but for now, all the best for December!

When I was young, I disliked cabbage. I learned to appreciate it later on. Lately, I’ve been enjoying experimenting with cabbage, and I am thankful for this crop.

I was always one to shy away from any form of responsibility, regardless of what they were. However, as I matured, I realized that being responsible is an important role. I am responsible for the way I act, the words that leave my mouth, and how I use time.

For the past two weeks, our local water provider has not been truthful when it came to distributing water for residents living on the hill in my area compared to the residents living on the flat. We haven’t received pipe-borne water for two weeks, and despite that, the Lord provided where man lacked via rainwater and we were able to fill up.

It’s actually raining as I write this.

The brain is the most important organ in the body, as it enables us to have memories, and allows us to think. When I was younger, excruciating headaches were my best friends, to the point where I was told that I might have a tumor, which turned out to be not true, thank God. I was also told that successive surgeries were a 50/50 chance and I might be left without the proper usage of a brain… or worse. 

I am super thankful for a working brain.

Boy, am I tired! I almost forgot to post my daily gratitude today. I am thankful for many things today, particularly crackers. When my sister returned from the grocery, the first thing we did was feast on Dixie crackers.

I love that crackers are versatile. It can be eaten with butter, dips, cream cheese, hummus, tuna, vegetables, etc. Toppings may vary, but it hits the bullseye every time and they can be used as party appetizers. 

I am thankful for crackers and I hope to explore more things to do with crackers soon.
