All morning long, I’ve been watching hummingbirds fluttering to and fro from flower to flower in the front garden. It’s been a blessing spending some time in nature.
I am thankful for these little beauties.
God has clothed and bathed this world in untouchable beauty. His creation is magnificent all around and it’s there for us to partake in and enjoy. From the butterflies to the flowers; from the rising to the setting of the sun, God’s beauty is indeed to be praised.
I am thankful that I can witness God’s all-round beauty every day that He has blessed me with.
Lately, I’ve been spending time marveling at God’s creation: the skies, stars, trees, animals, rivers, EVERYTHING! God is present in every detail of His creation that we are without excuse to say that we don’t really know God.
Today, I am thankful for all of God’s marvelous creation, and I am thankful that He has placed us on this earth to enjoy it. I am also thankful that I know my Creator and that I see Him in the smallest of details.
Poui trees are a sight to behold here in Trinidad especially when they’re in full bloom…
…and when the flowers make a natural carpet on the floor…
Today, I am thankful for the ever beautiful poui tree that blesses us for a short time (Jan-April depending) reminding us that there is still so much beauty on this island.
Kudos to the painter of this beautiful masterpiece and to the ones that took the photos! And yes, this is my home.
Where I live, I am surrounded by tall beautiful trees. They shade, they cool, they provide nesting accommodation for the birds, they enhance the view, and most importantly, they worship their Creator.
Today, I am very thankful for trees and the support they add to wildlife.
I look forward to hearing the birds sing when I wake up and just before the sun sets in the evenings. Blue Jays sing as they fly overhead, Kiskadees joining in with the sweetest of melodies and parrots making a racket as they head home from their day’s adventures. I love these moments in nature.
Today, I am thankful for the sweet-sounding birds. They’re always in harmony with nature.
