Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter by the gates into the city.
Stripping the sheet off the bed, I sigh, thinking, “Here I go again,” where it concerns the washing. I don’t have a washing machine and I don’t intend to invest in one as I prefer to wash by hands. I also don’t have a laundry day as I wash clothes on a daily since I don’t like to see clothes piling up. But with the sheets, I tend to wash them every two weeks and although I dread taking them off the bed, I’m always thankful to take care of this duty.
I am thankful for clean sheets and I’m also thankful for the clean scent that clings to them after washing.
What are you thankful for today?
